Komil Donabayevich Haydarov was born on July 7, 1958, in the Payaryk district of the Samarkand region, Uzbekistan, into a farming family. He completed his secondary education and pursued higher studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics of Tashkent State University (TashGU) from 1975 to 1980. From 1982 to 1985, he undertook full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Ethics and Aesthetics at the same university.

In 1987, he defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation entitled “The Mutual Enrichment of National Cultures and the Improvement of Lifestyles”, under the academic supervision of Academician M. Khayrullaev. In 1995, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor. In 2022, he earned the Doctor of Sciences degree in Social Philosophy (specialty 09.00.04) by defending his doctoral dissertation titled “The Revival of Spiritual Values in a Renewing Uzbekistan and Their Role in Lifelong Education.”

Professor Haydarov’s scholarly work is primarily focused on social philosophy, with particular emphasis on the role of spirituality and moral education in society. He is the author of two monographs, a co-authored textbook, three academic manuals, four methodological guides, four brochures, and 24 peer-reviewed articles published in national and international journals. Additionally, he has published over 60 articles in various periodicals, with a total body of work exceeding 350 academic and popular-science publications. He has presented research findings at 20 international and 28 national scientific-practical conferences.

Throughout his 40-year academic and civic career, Professor Haydarov has actively contributed to public education and enlightenment through lectures and outreach efforts across regional institutions, universities, and community forums. In the past five years alone, he has appeared 128 times in interviews and expert discussions on national television programs, including “Akhborot”, “Uzbekistan-24”, and “Tahlilname.” In recognition of his service, he was named the winner of the national competition “Most Active Advocate of Spirituality” in 2008. He was also awarded the “30th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan” medal in 2022 and the “First-Degree Labor Veteran” medal in 2024.
